Q: bearded dragon food

I'm currently feeding my bearded dragon crickets, pellets, various fruits and vegetbles, and sometimes wax worms. I've heard conflicting stories about mealworms. Are they ok? Are the adult mealworms the same as "superworms" and are those ok also? I've even read of people feeding pinkies to their bearded dragons, but that seems very extreme. Is my lizard getting enough variety? Is there something else she should be eating?

A: bearded dragon food

if you are talking about king meal worms then superworms are by far a better choice as kings are made by useing chemicals. Are your crix vitamin dusted? if not they should abut 2 times a week. As far as meal worms in general they are fine. The stories about them being able to eat through your lizards are just myths. What kind of veggies are you feeding it? are you making sure that they have variety in that along with healthy choices? Variaty is nice but health should always come first

Hope your berdie has a long prosperous life.
