Q: Persian cats
what is the life expectancy ofa healthy loved persian...she is the most loving pet i have ever owned....& let no one tell you cats can't be trained just like a dog can...my Chloe is amazing

It does all come down to health and care which you have control over but it also comes down to genes which you have no control over. Another factor to take into account that females in breeding programmes tend in general not to live as long as spayed females.
It would be better if you contacted the breeder as the breeder could tell you how old the grandparents and grandparents survived too and that would give you a better idea of what to anticipate.
An example one of the ancestors five generations back in one of my lines was a very famous cat and he survived to twenty two years. All down that line that I bred from they tended to be long lived and only this year I got a message in a guest book to say that two of my kittens were still doing well at the ripe old age of seventeen years.
